MUIRWOODS RC 650B

With a Series 2 CrMo frame featuring new slider dropouts for chain tensioning, an internally geared 8-speed Shimano Nexus hub, and 650Bx47mm “Road Plus” tires that accelerate quickly and roll almost as fast as skinnier road tires while eating up potholes and curbst, the Muirwoods is the ultimate mountain bike-based commuter.

STEEL FRAME

The Muirwoods uses a butted Series 1 4130 CrMo frame and fork with 29” tires, disc brakes, full fender and rack mounts, and two bottle bosses. The Muirwoods RC uses a double butted Series 2 CrMo frame with sliding dropouts for internally geared hub compatibility and large volume 650B wheels and tires. Larkspur models also feature the butted Series 2 frame with a mixte stepthru design for easy mounting and dismounting, even with baskets and baby seats.

Disc Brakes

Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.

Reflective Graphics and Tires

The Muirwoods features reflective frame graphics and tire sidewalls add visibility for urban commuting.
